I do see Agrippa’s point, and plus he has a rather personal stake considering what happened to Eve…but come now Agrippa, you saved Grey didn’t you?
Slade: Yeah, but Grey had been abandoned by his government for so long, and was close to death so he was hardly a threat to Agrippa. These two have JUST been shot out of the sky by the Resistance so they haven’t really had the time to let the fact that they wont be rescued sink in. Plus, there is the fear that they could be spies that will leak the next Resistance Base to the enemy if they are allowed to accompany them.
We know they are not that bad, but Agrippa doesn’t.
Agrippa’s certainly got reason enough for his distrust. And really, he wouldn’t be doing due diligence if he didn’t object now and then, right? That he’s letting Grey take responsibility for them with Eve’s life on the line probably actually tells us more than his objections.
It could turn out okay but then again watching this guy sneakily try and communicate back to base perhaps wouldn’t be out of the question.
In which case Agrippa is not exactly going to be a happy bunny…

Unless Ricks got a hyperspace transponder in his pocket, I don’t think he need to worry about him contacting base. Now his attack squadron maybe if they’re still on planet.

So that’s how the recruitment process works for the resistance?
They get their personnel from guys and gals who sucked hard enough to be in a near death state? Makes one wonder about the overall quality of the resitance troops
