Those are really small ships… even smaller than a typical modern fighter jet. Don’t see any visible weapon systems on them, though.
What about the f5? Its way smaller than those… I’d go so far as to say that they’re about as big as an f18. Also, seeing as the comic takes place 300 years in the future its not really fair to compare them to modern fighters. Lol sorry don’t mean to sound like I’m making excuses or anything, I just felt I had to defend myself here.

I’m not sure I grasp the concept of wings on a spacecraft though. Could they not fit their weapon systems on the main body of the ship? Or are they hybrids? You know, extra-stratospherical or intra (I don’t know if that’s what they’re called, but I officially feel more sciencey now!
) Because, other than this, wouldn’t they just make for a bigger target? Anyway, it’s just my opinion. They’re gorgeous, in any case!

I think thats the point, they look cool and thats enough, at least for me anyways. Its like other science fiction they go for what looks appealing or just damn cool looking, like the Xwing, or Tie Fighter.
