The Resistance

While the true origins of the Resistance remain a mystery, their goal remains clear: to end the conflict between the warring human and Azatoth races.

Over the centuries that it has waged, the first contact war has left countless victims in it’s wake. As the war continued (and Earth's empire grew) several of the lesser species in the galaxy were being forced from their worlds to make room for human colonial expansion. In order to ensure their survival, these aliens banded together and formed several inter-species colonies in the less monitored regions of space. However, the fact that these colonies had little to no protection made them a prime target for any pirates, scavengers or slavers that happened to pass by.

In an attempt to provide relief to these forgotten lives and to stop the suffering caused by the war, an unknown group of individuals formed the Resistance. Since it was instated, this organization has expanded in both size and strength, providing relief to vulnerable colonists and the liberation of internment camps throughout the galaxy. The ultimate goal of the Resistance may be to end the conflict between mankind and the Azatoth, but providing relief to victims of the war remains their priority.
